EVENTS: BLUEQ at the IPA ADRION Clustering & Capitalisation Event in Rimini

The BLUEQ project participated in the IPA ADRION Clustering & Capitalisation Event in Rimini, Italy, bringing together representatives of projects funded under the IPA ADRION Programme, as well as selected projects from the Interreg Italy–Croatia, Interreg Italy–Slovenia and IPA South Adriatic CBC Programmes. During the event, BLUEQ took part in the Cluster 6 – Biodiversity and Natural Marine Habitat Conservation session, where participants exchanged experiences, discussed common challenges and explored opportunities to capitalise on project results and strengthen cooperation.
A key focus of the session was the development of a Place-based Observatory, an approach inspired by the BLUEQ project. Discussions highlighted the potential of project outputs such as GIS-based decision-support systems, integrated environmental indicators, strategic guidelines and policy recommendations to support evidence-based marine and coastal management.
BLUEQ will continue collaborating with the other projects within Cluster 6, working together on joint activities aimed at enhancing the impact, visibility and long-term sustainability of project results across the Adriatic-Ionian region
