NEWS: BLUEQ Short Documentary Released
🎬 We are pleased to share the official BLUEQ short documentary, developed to increase the visibility of the project and raise awareness about the importance of blue carbon ecosystems across the Adriatic–Ionian region.
The documentary presents the scientific activities and collaborative work carried out within the BLUEQ project, highlighting underwater research, habitat monitoring, biodiversity assessment, sediment coring, drone mapping, and the protection of Posidonia oceanica meadows.
Through footage from pilot areas in Albania, Croatia, Greece, and Italy, the film showcases the vital role of marine ecosystems in climate mitigation, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable coastal management. 🌊💙
The documentary was created to inspire local communities, stakeholders, decision-makers, and the wider public to support the protection and sustainable management of our coastal and marine environments.
